Root Planimeter No. 336E, Radial Square Root Planimeters are used for evaluation of flowmeter and temperature charts.

It serve to determine the mean height of curves in circular charts recorded proportionally to the exponent of the desired quantity (non linear height divisions). The guide cam be designed to obey any arbitrary recording law, for quadratic or almost linear or linear divided charts.
